A fugitive gangster on the run in post-war Paris manipulates his former lover into helping him evade a relentless police manhunt, leading to a tense game of loyalty, betrayal, and survival.

Gunman in the Streets (Alternative title: Gangster at Bay) is a 1950 French-American film noir directed by Frank Tuttle. Unreleased theatrically in the U.S., it aired as Time Running Out on TV in 1963.
