Messiah of Evil (1973) is a surreal, atmospheric horror film directed by Willard Huyck and Gloria Katz, the creative duo behind American Graffiti and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. The story follows Arletty (Marianna Hill) as she travels to the coastal town of Point Dune in search of her missing father, only to uncover a community under the influence of a mysterious cult and a dark prophecy.
