A masked hero known as "The Torch" battles the tyrannical General Gurko Lannan to free the oppressed Grand Duchess Zona and save the kingdom of Lichtenberg from his treachery.

The Son of Monte Cristo is a 1940 American adventure, romance film directed by Rowland V. Lee. Adapted from Alexandre Dumas' legendary literary work, & this film serves as a sequel to The Count of Monte Cristo.
