A wise bourgeois woman is the wife of a gentleman who loves hunting. The husband's friend, who is courting his wife, shows him that instead of going hunting, his partner is going to join a lady. Mad with rage, the sweet wife drags the man who enlightened her to a hotel which serves as a meeting place for the offending husband. The requested police commissioner is having a hard time resolving the imbroglio!
